How It Works
Scroll down to learn how you can support a cause you care about simply by giving your time, at your favourite festivals! If you work for a charity, there are some great resources below to help you become our partner.
Pick a charity
Volunteer with My Cause UK and have a direct impact for a cause you feel passionate about! In exchange for volunteering your time, we will make a cash donation to any charity you choose. You don’t need to raise a penny, or seek sponsorship from anyone.
Give your time
The amount of time you give will depend on the festival. At weekend shows (usually Wednesday – Monday) you will give a maximum of 3 x 8 hours across the event period. Shifts for day events vary. All shifts are arranged to give you plenty of time to enjoy the event, and at longer festivals you’re given the opportunity to swap shifts with other volunteers.
We make a donation
In exchange for your time at the festival, we make a donation on your behalf to any charity of your choice! This donation doesn’t come out of your pocket, or your deposit. It comes from a fee we receive from the festival you’re volunteering at.
You get your deposit back
To volunteer with My Cause UK you will pay a deposit that acts as a guarantee against your ticket. This deposit is returned to you once you have completed your shifts. If you’re volunteering at multiple events you won’t need to pay multiple deposits either. One deposit can be used to secure your space at all of our events.
